GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE "VILLA LA LICORNE"
Villa la Licorne, whose legal notices are set out in Article 6, is located in Belcodène (13720), and its presentation and services can be viewed on the website www.villalalicorne.com for further details.
General Terms and Conditions:
This document details the general terms and conditions applicable as of September 15, 2025.
Booking accommodation at Villa la Licorne implies full and unreserved acceptance of these general terms and conditions, published on the website www.villalalicorne.com, displayed in the accommodation, and sent by email to guests who have booked accommodation.
RENTAL CONDITIONS FOR VILLA LA LICORNE
Article 1 - Rental Rates:
Published rates are per night.
The mandatory tourist tax is payable on site.
Additional or incidental services offered by the owner are payable on site at the Villa.
Length of Stay
Guests commit to a fixed length of stay and may not, under any circumstances, claim any right to remain on the premises.
Article 2 - Booking Conditions
Deposit equal to 50% of the rental amount
The balance is due 14 days before the start of the stay
The tourist tax will be payable on site at the villa. An email will be sent to indicate the amount to be paid.
(Children under 18 are exempt from tourist tax)
For safety reasons and due to the stairs and the jacuzzi near the rental property, we cannot accept children under 3 years old (except for children who cannot walk).
THE VILLA IS NOT ACCESSIBLE TO PEOPLE WITH REDUCED MOBILITY
After booking, we will send the guest, to the email address provided by the guest, a written confirmation of the reservation.
14 days before arrival – the rental agreement and the tourist tax amount to be paid on site
Article 3 - Cancellation by the guest or early departure:
Villa la Licorne declines all responsibility for any fees incurred following the cancellation of a reservation after the 30th day, and for all reservations made on a website other than www.villalalicorne.com
- Cancellation before arrival
⮚ Cancellation up to and including the 30th day before the start of the stay: a full refund will be issued.
⮚ Cancellation between the 29th day and the 15th day before the start of the stay: a deposit equal to 50% of the rental amount will be retained.
⮚ Cancellation between the 14th day and the arrival date initially specified in the contract, or no-show: no refund will be issued.
Remember to take out cancellation insurance to protect yourself against life's unforeseen circumstances.

The guest and the owner agree to comply with these conditions once the reservation is confirmed.
- Cancellation by the owner:
If the owner must cancel the reservation, they must inform the guest as soon as possible before the start of the stay.
The guest will then be reimbursed for any amounts already paid.
Arrival and Departure Times
Arrival time
The accommodation is available from 5:00 PM.
Contact Villa la Licorne at +33 659888693 for all arrivals after 5:00 PM.
If the guest does not arrive by 8:00 PM on the scheduled arrival date, the reservation is no longer guaranteed and the owner may dispose of the accommodation.
The deposit remains with the owner and the full amount of the reservation remains due.
Departure time
The accommodation must be vacated by 10:00 AM at the latest, after which the guest may be charged a surcharge.
Article 4 - Lifestyle and Use of the Premises:
Rules for Use of the Premises
To ensure the peace and comfort of the Villa la Licorne, adherence to a certain "lifestyle" is required.
It is specifically requested that guests refrain from smoking inside the Villa; ashtrays are available outside.
Guests agree to return the accommodations, their amenities, and any property entrusted to them in perfect condition at the end of their stay and to systematically report and assume financial responsibility for any damage for which they are responsible.
If the damage cannot be verified jointly or in the event of a dispute by the guest, the owner may have the damage recorded by a bailiff at the expense of the party responsible for the damage, notwithstanding payment of the damage suffered by the owner.
Guests are advised that minors staying on the property are under the sole and complete responsibility of their parents or guardians.
Villa la Licorne accepts no liability for loss, theft, and/or damage or injury to property and/or persons on the property, regardless of the cause.
Wi-Fi Access
The accommodation has Wi-Fi access allowing guests to connect to the internet.
The client undertakes that the IT resources made available to them will not be used in any way for the reproduction, representation, provision, or public communication of works or objects protected by copyright or related rights, such as texts, images, photographs, musical works, audiovisual works, software, and video games, without the authorization of the rights holders provided for in Books I and II of the Intellectual Property Code, when such authorization is required.
If the client fails to comply with the aforementioned obligations, they risk being charged with copyright infringement (Article L.335-3 of the Intellectual Property Code).
The client is also required to comply with the security policy of Villa la Licorne's internet service provider and to refrain from any act that could undermine the effectiveness of these resources.
Swimming Pool and Jacuzzi
Guests may use the swimming pool provided to them freely and at their own risk.
Parents retain exclusive custody and supervision of their children. A certificate of use of the swimming pool and jacuzzi will be provided upon arrival.
Guests agree to comply with all safety and hygiene instructions regarding the use of the swimming pool provided by Villa la Licorne.
It is specifically stated that the use of glass containers around the swimming pool is strictly prohibited.
Polycarbonate glasses are available in the Pool House.
Pets
Pets are not allowed on site.
Video surveillance system for the Villa la Licorne parking lot
Guests are informed that the entrance gate and parking lot are under video surveillance by Villa la Licorne to ensure security.
Article 5 - Use of Personal Data:
All content presented on the website www.villalalicorne.com, including text, visuals, graphics, images, photos, animations, texts, videos, logos, and their formatting, are the exclusive property of VILLA LA LICORNE – Chambres et Gîte en Provence.
This is with the exception of content belonging to other partner companies or authors.
In accordance with Article L. 122-4 of the French Intellectual Property Code, it is prohibited to reproduce, distribute, copy, or reuse, in whole or in part, the content of the website www.villalalicorne.com (texts, visuals, graphics, images, photos, animations, videos, logos) without prior written authorization and without specifying the source and ownership of VILLA LA LICORNE.
Any use of the Website or its elements not expressly authorized constitutes an infringement of the rights of Villa la Licorne, punishable in particular by copyright infringement, as sanctioned by Articles L. 355-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.
